iOS suspends apps in the background, so live alerts (fight start, rounds, stats, results) are delivered while CageSide is open or recently used. Scheduled reminders — the 24-hour heads-up and the 90-minute final call — are handled by iOS itself and arrive even when the app is closed. Tip: on fight night, open the app once as the card begins and the lock screen Live Activity takes it from there.

Check two switches: in CageSide → Settings → Notifications, make sure "Lock screen Live Activity" is on; and in iOS Settings → CageSide, make sure Live Activities is allowed. The banner appears from 90 minutes before a card's first fight and during every live fight.

CageSide aggregates publicly available data. Live numbers update within seconds, but the official scorers sometimes correct totals for a few minutes after a fight ends — the app re-syncs automatically. Detailed round-by-round data for a fight typically finalizes within a day of the event. Statistics are unofficial; always verify important information with official sources.

Starring a fighter (the ★ on their profile) gets you news alerts about them the moment stories break. You can see and manage all your starred fighters in Settings → Starred Fighters. The star does not filter live fight alerts — those always cover the whole card.

A statistical estimate computed from public records, striking and grappling output, and physical attributes. It's for fun and context only — it is not a betting line and shouldn't be used for wagering decisions.

CageSide → Settings → Notifications has an individual switch for every alert type: event reminders, fight start, round alerts, between-round stats, results, fighter news, and the Live Activity. Changes apply immediately.

CageSide shows live stats but doesn't stream video. Tap "Don't know where to watch?" under any upcoming event banner for the official broadcaster in your region, with sign-up links.
