Do I get live alerts when the app is closed?
Yes. Fight-start, round, result and fighter-news alerts are sent by our server as push notifications, so they arrive with the app closed. Make sure notifications are allowed in iOS Settings → CageSide, and pick which alerts you want in CageSide → Settings → Notifications.
The lock screen banner isn't showing. How do I enable it?
Check two switches: in CageSide → Settings → Notifications, make sure "Lock screen Live Activity" is on; and in iOS Settings → CageSide, make sure Live Activities is allowed. The banner appears from 90 minutes before a card's first fight and during every live fight.
Some stats look slightly different from other sources, or arrive a little late.
CageSide aggregates publicly available data. Live numbers update within seconds, but the official scorers sometimes correct totals for a few minutes after a fight ends — the app re-syncs automatically. Detailed round-by-round data for a fight typically finalizes within a day of the event. Statistics are unofficial; always verify important information with official sources.
What is CageSide Pro?
Pro adds the AI layer — the Analytics Room with AI verdicts next to the bookmakers' odds, full prediction breakdowns, your picks scored card by card, post-fight AI recaps and the Pro News Desk — and removes ads. It's available monthly or yearly (with a 7-day free trial on yearly). Manage or cancel any time in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or from CageSide → Settings → Account.
I bought Pro but it isn't unlocked.
Pro is linked to your CageSide account. Make sure you're signed in to the same account you subscribed with, then open Settings → Account and tap Restore Purchases. Still stuck? Email us with the email on your account.
How do I delete my account?
CageSide → Settings → Account → Delete account. This removes your account and the data stored with it. Deleting the account does not cancel an App Store subscription — cancel that in iOS Settings → Subscriptions.
What does starring a fighter do?
Starring a fighter (the ★ on their profile) gets you news alerts about them the moment stories break. You can see and manage all your starred fighters in Settings → Starred Fighters. If you're signed in, your starred fighters follow you to new devices.
Are the AI predictions betting advice?
No. AI verdicts, win probabilities and simulations are statistical estimates for entertainment and context only. They are not betting lines and must not be used for wagering decisions.
How do I control which notifications I get?
CageSide → Settings → Notifications has an individual switch for every alert type: event reminders, fight start, round alerts, between-round stats, results, fighter news, and the Live Activity. Changes apply immediately.
Where do I watch the fights?
CageSide shows live stats but doesn't stream video. Tap "Don't know where to watch?" under any upcoming event banner for the official broadcaster in your region, with sign-up links.
