Privacy Policy

The short version: CageSide collects no personal data. No accounts, no tracking, no analytics, no ads.

Data we collect

None. CageSide does not require an account, does not use analytics or advertising SDKs, does not track you across apps or websites, and does not collect, store, or sell any personal information. The app's App Store privacy label is "Data Not Collected."

Data stored on your device

Your preferences (notification settings, starred fighters) and cached fight data and images are stored locally on your device only. Deleting the app deletes them. We have no access to any of it.

Feedback you choose to send

If you use the in-app "Rate & send feedback" feature, we receive exactly what you submit: your star rating, your written message (if any), the app version, your iOS version, and your device model (e.g. "iPhone"). No name, email, device identifier, or other personal information is attached — feedback is anonymous, and we cannot reply to it or link it to you. Submitting feedback is entirely optional.

Third-party content

To show fight cards, statistics, images, and news, the app requests data directly from publicly available third-party services (such as ESPN, ufcstats.com, and Apple's iTunes services; video links open in YouTube or your browser). As with any internet request, those services receive your IP address and standard request metadata when the app contacts them, governed by their own privacy policies. CageSide adds no identifiers of its own to these requests.

Notifications

All notifications (event reminders, live fight alerts, fighter news) are generated on your device or scheduled locally through iOS. We operate no notification server and receive nothing when notifications are delivered. You can turn every category on or off in the app's Settings, or disable notifications entirely in iOS Settings.

Children

CageSide is rated 13+ and is not directed at children under 13. Since we collect no personal data, we knowingly collect no data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy ever changes (for example, if we add optional accounts in a future version), we will update this page and the effective date above before the change takes effect.
